Head of IKEA & Retail, Norway

In this role you are responsible for executing Strategic Account management for IKEA (both Private and Business customers) together with our Leasing department. More specifically through delivering customer knowledge and insights about the finance customer to IKEA and our Retail Partners as well as proactively driving sales and conversion at all levels. You are responsible for setting and executing the direction for IKEA and our Retail Partners to drive customer retention, conversion rate and loyalty.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategic, Tactical and Operational responsibility for the IKEA and Retail area for Ikano Bank
  • Development and analysis of strategies and commercial go-to market for our IKEA and retail area in Ikano Bank
  • Share customer insights and follow up of actions with IKEA and stakeholders at Ikano.
  • Cross country collaboration with peers across Europe and Head Office in Sweden
  • Actively work with sales conversion, activity rates, customer journeys
  • Budget and plans for the area in close collaboration with the Business Control Manager and your leadership peers
  • Collaboration with the local management team on developing the Norwegian branch
  • Participation in various projects and initiatives internally and with partners

As a person you are a problem-solver and trustworthy with people skills and the ability to interpret and communicate statistics and numbers in a pedagogical way to relevant stakeholders. You enjoy working in a fast paced environment, and to work both independently and in teams.

We believe you have extensive experience from working with partner relationship management, customer journey maps, and customer knowledge. You own and execute the direction for the IKEA and Retail Partners area, and thereby plan and work closely with the internal experts and IKEA stakeholders to reach our goals.  You have a profound interest in customer behaviour and loyalty!

In order to be successful in this role, you need to be a flexible and open-minded person, enjoying meeting and interacting with people from different levels. As you will be in the centre of everything, you will need to be able to juggle several tasks and projects at the same time. You will be highly dependent on your extensive network within the bank to make sure your job is done. 

You have prior experience from working with CRM processes and analysing customer data, customer behaviour and customer insights. You have experience of developing customer journeys and customer touch points. Experience from working at IKEA is an advantage. You are fluent in speaking and writing Norwegian and English.
